Keep your family tree organized with MacFamilyTree v5.2

MacFamilyTree
Synium’s popular genealogy application, MacFamilyTree, has been released as v5.2, and the updates are fantastic. Of course, you have your usual tweaks and bug fixes, but Synium’s new Virtual Tree (see above) feature not only makes creating genealogy trees look fun, it makes them look like a piece of art. Virtual Tree is a new 3D way of viewing your family tree, and it can by searched through simply by clicking and dragging with your mouse. To make searching your family even easier, it can also color code groups of people based on their characteristics. Another cool feature of this app’s GUI is that you can totally customize it. If you don’t like something, take it out of the GUI. If you do like it, you can make it bigger and more prominent.

Synium wants you to show off your projects, so they’ve made it easy to share them by including features such as HTML exporting. Also, since it has improved GEDCOM import and export support, you will be able to share your family trees across platforms. MacFamilyTree comes in at $49, but you will get a 25% discount if you are switching from a different genealogy program. That’s a hard deal to pass up. If you use MacFamilyTree for your next genealogy project, I’m sure it will be a stunner.

This program is indeed great. However, for a newbie, it will be quite hard at first. I used to hire freelancer at Freelancer.com to do the job and he taught me everything about this software. In addition, I told him to do some research on my family tree and some projects too. He is pretty good and finish the job in no time. Thanks to him now I can understand even the most complicated program. If you want to hire one, use this code “FAMILYTREE” to get more benefits. Good luck.
