iTunes 9.0 potential feature list rumor [updated with images]
According to reliable sources over at The Boy Genius Report, the ninth version of iTunes will have some nice new features. The first of these rumored features says that iTunes will be receiving Blu-ray support finally, despite some of Apple’s (or should I say Steve’s) comments in the past. This isn’t the first time this has been rumored, but it seems a little more plausible now that HD DVD has had some time to fade away.
Furthermore, it appears as if users will now be able to rearrange and organize their Applications section in iTunes. While this isn’t groundbreaking or anything, I certainly would love the ability of some customization in this section of the application. The last of the potential features involves some sort of social network integration, but it wasn’t made very clear, according to the report.
UPDATE: The Boy Genius Report now has images of some of these possible features of the new iTunes. You can check them out below, and they mostly showcase the Last.fm integration.
