Our new podcast: Meet...
We know. Podcasts are so last year - but this one you won't want to miss. Whether it’s a rumor that won’t die, a new product announcement, or just a really good Macintosh or iPhone app find that we have to let you know about, we’ll make sure it’s covered on Appletellcast.
iPhone App Reviews
iPhone Apps. They were great when the App Store was first announced and we could all pick and chose what we wanted, but the number is now overwhelming. Here at Appletell, we'll detail the great iPhone apps we find, and steer you clear from those that aren't worth it even if they're free.
iPhone Game Reviews
As Apple turns the iPhone into one of the most popular gaming devices, the staff of Appletell--gamers and Apple fans alike--are here to help you get the most entertainment value out of your app store purchases.

I know, we’ve seen that question a lot over the past couple of weeks. And since we’re less than 24 hours away from the expected announcement, posting newly “leaked” images is much ado about nothing. But, we received this tip nonetheless, and thought we’d pass the images along to you just so you can add them to your rumor collection.
The image above comes form web-mobile.net (you know, in case you missed the subtle watermark). It’s a French site, which I translated into English at Alta Vista and got commentary such as this:
There’s a forum at the site with comments that dig deeper, and many that are even more hilarious after the translation, but I’ll leave you to discover that on your own. In the meantime, the image above simply presents a wider model (effectively killing the widescreen display) with an aluminum or grey appearance. The circle up by the ear speaker could be the video camera for live video chatting. It’s the image below that leads me to believe these are fakes.
First of all, it doesn’t appear as wide as the front image above. Second, only the Apple logo and camera remain. Where’s the iPhone label, the GB size, the serial and FCC numbers, etc.? Apple’s just going to drop that information? They’re allowed to?
No. Looks as if we’ll have to wait just a little bit longer to find out what’s going on, and you’ll be able to do so right here at Appletell tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. PST for our live blog of the keynote. See you then…provided our waiters don’t crasher.
