iPhoneSimFree to release unlock within 3 days

by Robert Nelson on Aug 29, 2007 at 09:52 PM

iPhone

The team over at iPhoneSimFree have added an updated FAQ to their website with some very important questions being answered. The most important being that they plan to release the unlocking software within the next 48-72 hours. In order to use the unlock software you will need to activate and “jailbreak” your iPhone. It will currently work with (and is able to be restored with) version 1.0.2. Once available the software will be available by download however the price has yet to be announced. They are also claiming that their “software is by far the simplest and quickest to install and set up”. Sounds good, lets just hope Apple is not able to lock these phones back down with a future software update.
