Earlier this week at Steve Jobs’ WWDC keynote, he announced that Apple’s new iPhone will be available starting June 29 at 6:00 PM local time. Since that is as vague as vague can be, there has been some confusion whether that meant 6:00 PM San Francisco time, or literally 6:00 PM for each market, AT&T has issued a memo on the topic:
The iPhone will go on sale on at AT&T retail stores June 29 at 6 p.m. local time in each market.
So whether you’re in New York, or California, when the clock strikes 6:00 PM on release day, you can expect to get your iPhone - that is if they’re not sold out already.
