If you live in Singapore and are widely anticipating the launch of the iPhone there, your wait will soon be over. According to a source close to Reuters, Singapore Telecommunications Ltd will be launching the iPhone before the end of the month. Although SingTel announced they would carry the iPhone back in June, we didn’t know when until now. Being Southeast Asia’s largest wireless carrier, the iPhone is sure to be a hit there as well.

This release will be just a small part of the large launch the iPhone 3G is undergoing. With 20 countries already carrying the popular device since launch day, Apple is well on their way to blow past the 10 million device goal they set a while back. One thing is for sure, the iPhone really has changed the game for the cell phone industry. Now, let’s just hope SingTel doesn’t make the same mistake as Rogers.
