iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3 Build: 7A280f released
I have had the pleasureyes, I mean pleasureof working with the beta 3 release of OS 3.0 for the iPhone. I flashed my phone with the firmware about four hours ago, and it is just flat out fast. Finger gestures, taps, application response are all faster than any of the OS 2 builds.
I had lost my push e-mail notifications from both Mobile Me and my corporate Exchange servers. They are back. The new feature of adding the push notifications to your e-mail folders is also functioning at 100% now. In previous builds, if you did not flash the phone and set it up as a new phone (meaning if you restored from back up), Youtube broke. That is no longer the case.
I am excited for everyone because they seem to be releasing a new build about every two weeks or so, so I can only image how fast this is going to be when released to the masses. Did I mention it was fast? It’s fast. Applications pop almost instantly; it’s like a different experience all together. The best just got better.
As far as push notifications go, there are no applications available yet to test except my super, top secret, nobody-can-know-about-it application I wrote to do exactly that. It works, so I expect applications from the likes of AIM, Facebook, and MySpace to be using them to the fullest.
If anyone is curious about anything, sound off below and I will do my best to get answers for you.

How did you upgrade without knowing it? You cant go back once you are on 3.0. Its in the agreement you accepted when you upgraded, provided you did it correctly. If you give me more information I might be able to help…....
