iPhone forces Ringtone industry to innovate

It’s not just mobile phone manufacturers getting all nervous with the iPhone around; with news that Apple’s handset can utilize music files stored on computers as ringtones, the entire ringtone industry is waking up. No more ripping consumers off with high prices coupled with low quality. Either innovate, or die trying.
Speaking of innovation, Revoice Singtones from UK company Synchro Arts is one such example. This service simply records your singing as a ringtone. Sounds ordinary until you realize the killer feature: through some sort of witchcraft (ok, signal processing) they ensure your voice is both in tune and in time with the original song.
Too little too late? I’m not sure, but Revoice Singtones sounds promising.
