So, what do we mean by core? We mean you are able to get below the current OS and install another OS on the device (when/if one gets coded). This functionality opens up the iPhone to a whole new level of hacks and hopefully some very cool new uses for the device.
The Pwnage Tool kit was supposed to be released yesterday, but the Dev Team would like to make a few more changes with the GUI and also release both a Mac OS and Windows version of the software, so you can expect a release in the next week or so.
