The guys over at NoWhereElse.fr (French link) have put together what they call a visual rumour roundup for the 4th gen iPhone. Take a look.

iPhone 4G visual rumour roundup

It’s funny, with all the hype surrounding the Apple tablet, how easily we forget about its apparent big (or little?) brother, the iPhone.  The release of a new iPhone has become a yearly event, so it’s no surprise that someone somewhere is eagerly awaiting the next iPhone.  And this one image sums it up pretty nicely, complete with percentage of likelihood.

So it seems we can expect a 5MP camera, an OLED display, a dual-core processor, a touch sensitive case and a front facing camera.  That last one was rumored last time around, so either it’s complete BS, or they’ve been working on it for a while.  I’d love to have video phone capabilities.  We certainly won’t be in the future until we get that one.

The touch sensitive case likelihood percentage seems a bit high to me at 75%.  As cool as that kind of technology could be, I just don’t see how Apple would make full use of it.  I’m also doubting that OLED display, as much as I’d like it to be true.

One thing is for sure, Apple needs to hire one of these guys from DesignedByItem.com who did this mockup, because that iPhone design is killer.  I want one of those.  Oh yeah, and they’re probably pretty spot on with their May-July availability.  That should be right around the time your credit card is finished recovering from that Apple tablet on the 27th.
