iPhone 2.0 software hidden gem: screenshots!
If you want to take screen shots on the iPhone, it is now super easy if you have the iPhone 2.0 Software. How do you do it? Simply hold the home button down, then press the power button on top. The screen you are currently on will flash white, confirming that the picture has been taken. To find the picture, simply go to Photos.app on your iPhone, and check it out in your camera roll. Although Apple hasn’t really mentioned this feature, it is a great addition.
This will greatly help those people who need to write about the iPhone and want to include pictures. If you’re writing a tutorial or want to show friends something over the internet, you can now give them a picture instead of just words. I don’t know why it wasn’t available before this from Apple, as jailbreakers made an app for this in a matter of days. Once you’ve all got 2.0 installed, send us your screen shots!
