iCalamus v1.13 reaches your desktop

by Josh Holat on Jun 27, 2008 at 12:13 PM

iCalamusiCalamus from invers Software, is officially v1.13. iCalamus is a desktop publishing application that can be used to create all kinds of media, from posters to books. One of the main updates in this new version—aside from the standard bug fixes—is that this app can now print Photographerbook books externally and import iPhoto documents as calendars. On top of this, iCalamus documents now support Quick Look, and the toolbar has been redesigned.  You can check out their highlights page for more information.

  • Typeless frames (content defines frame type)
  • Frame and vector shape object are identical (frame shape can be edited as vector object)
  • Frame shape can be used for clipping
  • All contents (text, images, graphics) can be output with stepless opacity

To find out more about this application, be sure to check out their videos and document samples. Some of the creations over on their site are pretty great looking. It seems like a nice app with plenty of features for creating beautiful, rich documents. Let us know how it is.
