How to prepare for WWDC ‘08

by Josh Holat on May 18, 2008 at 03:48 PM

WWDCAre you so excited for WWDC that you can barely wait for June?  Do you need something to hold you over until then to stop you from going insane?  With the event containing over 150 labs and sessions this year as well as being sold out, there are endless possibilities for this year.  Well, good thing for you there are plenty of ways to prepare for this years WWDC. Here are the top 3…

  1. Countdown to WWDC Widget.  This widget is a simple countdown to when WWDC begins and can help hold you over until then.  Whenever wondering how much longer you have to wait, simply open Dashboard and have your answer.  Even better yet, though, is that you could spend some time calculating how long it is until June 9th yourself to pass the time.
  2. Catch up on your rumors.  Go to your favorite Apple news sites and remind yourself of some of the rumors for this years WWDC.  You probably already know them all, but this can help prepare you even more before the event.  However, if you’re sick of the iPhone, I don’t recommend this one.
  3. Wait for this year’s bingo.  Every year there is a bingo game board for WWDC based on the rumors leading up to the event.  This is a great way to prepare for the conference and is fun to play with all of your friends.

What are you going to do in preparation for the event?
