Help, I’m unable to access the App store!
If you haven’t already heard by now, the App store is here. I immediately downloaded the iTunes update, but when I logged into iTunes, I still couldn’t access the App store.
What was going on? After a few moments of panic, I realized the answer was actually very simple; I needed to update my iTunes preferences.

How do I get to my preferences?
- Click on iTunes in the top left hand corner
- Select Preferences
- Under the Show category make sure Applications is checked (mine was unchecked)
Once Applications have been checked, it will now appear under the iTunes category.

Logging onto the App store you’ll find lots of applications for your iPhone or iPod. I went straight to the Games and Healthcare and fitness applications. Although there were a lot of games applications that I’m interested in checking out I didn’t find too many under the Healthcare and Fitness section. I did see GoLearn Fitness: Plus which acts as your personal trainer. It’s compatible with the iPhone and the iPod touch. It also requires iPhone 2.0 software.
If you don’t see the App when you log onto iTunes, don’t forget to check out your preferences. Update, log back onto iTunes and enjoy all the Apps that are available.

The I people say that I must verify my account. But I can neither find an email to verify it nor create a new account and they don’t offer any help options.
How can I go about restarting the process without my I phone freezing ?
Thanks
