growl 1.1 releasedGrowl is a utility that I just would not to live without, it is a notification system for Mac OS X. Once installed it is added to your System Preferences and will display messages for other applications such as Mail, iTunes and Adium. Version 1.1 adds “global positioning system” which keeps messages from overlapping on your monitor and a close button as well as various bug fixes.
