Graphics upgrade for “iPhone 3?”

Will the “iPhone 3” be the iPhone 3-D? It’s all rumors, of course, but after the yawner of Macworld Expo ‘09, I think we’re entitled to a little speculation about the next version of Apple’s insanely popular device.

Apparently the New York Post thinks so, too, since they’re just plain makin’ stuff up about what the next iPhone version could include:

There is the chance that the next upgrade of the iPhone will include enhanced graphics - allowing users to play games that feature 3-D graphics.

“I would look forward to improvements in the device as a gaming platform,” Bart Decrem, CEO of Tapulous, developer of the hit “Tap Tap Revenge” iPhone game, told Wired.-com’s Gadget Lab blog.

Yes, you heard it here first: it could include 3D Graphics. It could also include a shaver, universal translator, and harmonica.

Personally, the next big feature I’m waiting for is to have restrictions taken away: namely to have the iPhone opened up to other carriers and to get rid of the bureaucratic mess of the iTunes Application Store. But what are you hoping for?

I want a lot of things in the next iPhone.  I’d like it to be faster, with more memory for processing etc.  I think it should have an upgraded camera (more megapixels) and one facing forward for self pics and video chat.

Apple also needs to get with the picture and enable more Bluetooth features, like keyboards, headphones and file transfers.  Not to mention Copy & Paste along with Push Notifications.  And why can’t we have turn by turn navigation?  I mean come on!

well, it actually already DOES have translations, and a harmonica (via apps) and techinically it does have a shaving app as well, non-functioning, of course, but a win nontheless…(although if one were so inclined one could always sharpen the metal edge of ones iphone and use it as a razor)
