GizMac unveils Aluminate, DuraSport for 3G Nano

by Stephen Chinnadorai on Jan 27, 2008 at 11:32 AM

GizMac Aluminate GizMac is the creator of some great iPod accessories including their flagship DuraSport for the iPod Nano. Today, GizMac revealed the DuraSport for the latest 3G iPod Nano. It’s a soft case made from silicone rubber that has a plastic shield for protecting the screen from scratches and other dirt. The silicone case also covers the Clickwheel, without limiting its functionality. The new DuraSport also comes with a Velcro armband - perfect for sports use as the name suggests. It will be shipping next month for $30.

The second product they unveiled today was the new Aluminate case. It’s constructed from aluminium on the front and polycarbonate plastics on the back. The screen and the ClickWheel are uncovered. The Aluminate can be secured with the included laynard and carabiner clips. The Aluminate will also ship in February for $30.
