No, really, what is the best computer out there that runs Windows Vista? You might be pleasantly surprised, or even shocked that we’re asking such a question, given that we’re an Apple-centric blog. But it turns out, the best PC for the job happens to be Apple’s very own iMac, at least according to renowned journalist Walt Mossberg.
Mossberg says he recently bought one of the new aluminum iMacs (presumably the fastest model) and installed both Boot Camp and Windows Vista. After running the Windows Experience Index, which rates computers from 1 to 5.9 based on performance, he responded with: “My iMac scored a 5.0, the best score of any consumer Vista machine I have tested.”
Score one for the Apple camp!
