In celebration of Thanksgiving (and likely Black Friday as well), Agile Web Solutions is offering their iPhone app known as 1Password Pro touch to its customers completely free of charge (the app normally goes for $7.99). If you’re interested in this deal, don’t wait too long; the offer is only valid until December 1st.

Even if you don’t use the Mac version of this app, 1Password touch is a great password manager for your iPhone or iPod touch, as it stores all of your important information—such as usernames, passwords, credit card numbers, software license keys, and many more—very securely. Features of 1Password Pro touch include two levels of security (depending on how sensitive the data is), cut and paste functionality, and even a built-in web browser to ease the whole process of storing all of your personal information. However, if you really want to get the most out of this great app, you’re going to need to get yourself a copy of the Mac version of 1Password. The biggest benefit of doing so is being able to sync your information between your iDevice and Mac, which can be essential to some.

If you’re wondering what the differences are between the standard and pro versions of 1Password touch are, the pro version include folders for better organization, the ability to copy more than one field for pasting elsewhere, and a switching mode to quickly copy and paste information into MobileSafari. Also, coming soon are Favorites and even MobileMe and WebDAV syncing.

If you’re currently running the standard version of 1Password touch on your iDevice, make sure to back up all of your data before removing it and upgrading. Or, if you have the Mac version of 1Password, you can simply ensure all your latest data is up-to-date with it, and then just sync it onto your new Pro version rather than having to do the data restoring manually.
