Free iPods for College Students

Going back to college? Apple is (once again) running the promotion whereby students who buy a Mac and an iPod will receive a mail-in rebate for a free iPod. To be eligible for the promotion, participants must purchase a qualifying Mac and iPod on the same receipt up until September 16. Although the “free iPod” only refers to the 2GB iPod Nano, the fifth-generation iPods and pricier iPod nano’s also qualify for the $199 rebate.

Of course, if you’re involved anywhere in the education chain (students, teachers and staff), you can use your education discount on other Apple products. Check out the Apple Store Online for Education discounts and more information.
