Gamers rejoice; this is the week for free games. Racing, pinball, finger running, what else could you possibly want? I know…an RPN calculator! And to top it all off, VW announced their 2010 GTI with a special version of Real Racing. I know you’ll find some fun stuff in my list this week…

• Real Racing GTI - The first car to be released with an iPhone game. Yes ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the 2010 VW GTI. You might remember my review of the regular version of Real Racing. If not, let me just say it’s awesome. This is a free version sponsored by VW. You can drive any car you want, as long as it’s the VW GTI. Still, this is pretty cool. Thanks VW and Firemint!
• The Battle of Pirate Bay Free - Tower defense + pirates = awesome?  Yeah, for most people that’s true.  If you add in that it doesn’t cost you anything, then hey, now we’re talking, right?  I just love the graphics on this game, and I’m sure you’ll love the gameplay.
• The Deep Pinball FREE - Gameprom hands down makes the best pinball games for the iPhone, and they’re pretty cool about showing you how awesome they are.  Both are available for free.  Well, you only get one ball per game, but hey, the real app is only a dollar…
• Wild West Pinball FREE -  I told you they were both free.  I know this article is all about the freebies, but you could do much worse than spend two dollars on the full versions of both of these games.  Leisurely gaming at its best, right here.
• GraphiX48 - I was about to ask if you like calculators, but come on.  You’re reading an article about free iPhone apps on the internet.  You’re definitely a geek, thus, you love calculators.  This is an RPN calculator based on the HP48GX.  If you don’t already know what that means, you likely never will.  If you’re cool with the RPN, you’re going to really appreciate this one.
• GoSkimming - Why go to a lake and skip stones when you can pretend to skip stones over some water by pretending to throw your iPhone?  I definitely can’t think of any reasons.  Definitely, not.  Yeah, I would definitely not worry about throwing my iPhone or anything like that.  Definitely.
• Reebok iSprint - It’s like running, only with your fingers!  Finger run as fast as you can and you might even get your name on the global leaderboard.  I’m thinking about switching from my normal regiment of excessive (foot) running to this so I can get that painful feeling in my finger tips to match my feet from my Reeboks.  Yay!
• CoolKeys - Bonus time.  This one is free, likely for a limited time only.  It lets you type special characters with your iPhone or iPod touch.  I’m talking really special.  Like, so special that you can’t even type them with Emoji enabled, like paragraph signs, the command key, TM, copyright, a 1 inside of a circle.  I know, you’re just so excited, that you just can’t hide it.
• Fish Fun - Because you haven’t had fun until you’ve had fish fun. It’s free for today only, so hurry before it gets away.
