Free Apps roundup for May 15th, 2009More free apps, please! No problem, not at all. Check out this week’s offerings for your iPhone or iPod touch sans money.

  • Steppin’ - Here’s a really fun finger walking game.  You walk on the surface of your iPhone with two of your fingers.  There are various different types of terrain to walk over.  Seriously, it’s strangely fun, and now it’s free!
  • X-Plane-Trainer - No doubt you’ve already looked at the X-Plane series of games on the iPhone and wondered what’s it’s like.  Now you can take a Cessna 172 for a spin and see if it and the app are a good fit for you.  The way they keep this freebie from being fun forever are the popups that instruct you on how to fly the plane.  Annoying as all ****.
  • Equilibrio Lite Edition - It’s a tilt controlled puzzler.  You control the level, which affects the ball, which is supposed to pick some stuff up.  Try it out.
  • Pinball Dreaming: Pinball Dreams Lite - Play one of four pinball tables with all the fun of the original and updated graphics.  Who doesn’t at least enjoy pinball?
  • Vir2L Base Jumper Lite - If you’re anything like me, then you have no fear, and nothing can hold you back. And if you’re not, then this is the app for you.  Base jumping is probably one of the scariest things you’ll never do, so try it from the safety of your iPhone!
  • Spray Can - How useful is an app that basically just makes the sound of a spray can?  Not at all.  Should fit right in, right?  Just kidding.  Who knows though, maybe you’ll have fun pretending to “tag” things with your iPhone.
