A little bit of a quieter week on the App Store, but we did see one big release. That would be Skype, of course. But, don’t worry, there were at least a few other cool freebies. So be sure to check out the list.
- Skype - The clear winner for best free app of the week.
- iDracula Lite - Free iDracula, ‘nuff said. Well, almost ‘nuff. It’s awesome. Download it.
- NumberKey Free - If you purchased one of the new wired or wireless keyboards for the Mac, then you might be missing a number pad. Here’s one way to get it back. You have to install another app on your Mac or PC, but it’s wireless and free. It even matches the standard Apple keyboard.
- WiFi HD - This turns your iPhone into a wireless hard drive. It doesn’t appear to be an application for viewing files on your iPhone, just a wireless storage utility.
- Entertainment Tonight (ET) - Let’s be honest, if you’re reading this article at night, then you’ve had your fill of nightly entertainment. But just in case, you an get all the breaking news about Paris or Britney or whomever else we’re supposed to care about these days.
- PandoraBox - I know that there really is no replacement for me and my weekly free apps roundup, but this is a handy tool that finds apps on the App Store. You don’t get my keen eye on what’s crap and what’s not, nor my witty remarks, but you do get another way to search for apps including price reductions. Try that with the standard App Store.
