First up is iTunes 8 at Apple’s Let’s Rock Event

iTunes 8 new browsing
First off at today’s Let’s Rock event is iTunes 8 as rumored. So what’s so great about iTunes 8.  Read on my friend…

iTunes 8 adds Accessibility, Voice Over, New Browsing and Genius.

Browsing is now icon based.  You can sort by Artist, Albums, Genre and Composers.  It looks a lot like the Finder, only darker.

Genius takes a song or band you like and makes a playlist based on your iTunes Library and musical tastes.  Info is sent anonymously to Apple to make the playlists, and it is said to work great.

Automatically make playlists from songs in your library that go great together with just one click

And you’re not limited to just songs.  You can set the Genius loose on your TV shows and movies as well.

As for Accessibility and Voice Over, we’ll have to wait until the update goes live later today.
