First Pics: iPhone packaging
Update: We have our own unboxing pics, check out the iPhone peep show. As well as our very own iPhone Giveaway!

With fifteen hours before the launch of the most innovative phone to date (yea, I could’ve just said iPhone), pictures are finally starting to leak. These pictures were spotted on Flickr and we have no way of verifying their authenticity. The pictures are of what could be the boxing for the phone, and look like they’ve been shot with a camera phone.
If these do hold up to be true, some Apple employee may be in some hot water. You can check out the pictures after the jump, and click through to visit the Flickr page on which they were found.

Yes, I can verify this is the correct packaging.
While you are unable to verify me, based on all of my anonymous-ness, as a person who would get fired for confirming with my identity, I will stick to this.

iPhones simply come in industrial shrink-wrap and a brown paper lunch bag. However, you may purchase upgraded packaging for $39.95 (shipped separately in 6-8 weeks). You have to put the iPhone into the upgraded packaging yourself.
on June 29, 2007 at 01:56 PM - LINKThe iPhone is “the most innovative phone to date”? REALLY? Even the most basic phone in Japan makes the iPhone look like a toy.
Better to say, “The most innovative phone Americans have ever seen to date”, I think.
