First look: Five-Column Springboard

by Patrick Lutz on Jan 8, 2009 at 12:17 PM

Five-Column SpringboardFor all of those with jailbroken iPhones/iPod touches, there’s a cool new hack to look forward to in Cydia in the near future. Known as FCSB (Five-Column Springboard), it does exactly what the name implies; it allows you to have five columns of apps on your springboard! This new hack is not yet available for public release and is still in development, but it’s definitely something to look forward to, especially for people who need more springboard space for apps.

Below is a video of the FCSB hack, and although it does make apps that are of the standard size quite cluttered, it can look very nice on themes with smaller app icon sizes.

Let us know what you think!
