Feral takes Chessmaster 9000 universal

Chessmaster 9000Feral Interactive has released a Universal patch for Chessmaster 9000 that allows the game to run natively on PowerPC and, now, Intel-based Macs. No longer requiring emulation, you can finally experience all that hot chess action in its speedy glory! In addition, the patch now include a built-in auto update feature that will tell the user when a new update has been released.

Chessmaster 9000 introduces players to the rules and strategies of chess, while building skills through fun yet comprehensive tutorials. Featuring challenging gameplay with unrivalled personal instruction and chess resource material to elevate your game, Chessmaster 9000 is the teacher, mentor and ultimate opponent that provides countless hours of interactive competition and fun.

To download the universal patch, visit Feral’s website. The update will only work with Mac OS X 10.4 and later.

The release of the Chessmaster 9000 Universal patch is the latest in a series of patches released by Feral Interactive. In March, Ford Racing 2, Bionicle and Worms3D got Universal updates.
