Feral Interactive has released a Universal patch for Chessmaster 9000 that allows the game to run natively on PowerPC and, now, Intel-based Macs. No longer requiring emulation, you can finally experience all that hot chess action in its speedy glory! In addition, the patch now include a built-in auto update feature that will tell the user when a new update has been released.

The release of the Chessmaster 9000 Universal patch is the latest in a series of patches released by Feral Interactive. In March, Ford Racing 2, Bionicle and Worms3D got Universal updates.
