Feral Interactive
As Gamertell reported earlier today, Feral Interactive has announced that Black and White 2 will finally be released on January 6th at Macworld Expo 2009. If you don’t feel like waiting that long, however, you can sample some gaming goodness in the form of the LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures demo, which is now available from the Feral website.

Black & White 2 is the real-time, strategy sequel to the critically acclaimed hit Black & White, one of the best-selling Mac games of all time.

Created by Lionhead Studios and designers Peter Molyneux and Ron Millar, in Black & White 2 players reprise the role of a young god in search of followers and return to the once innocent world of Eden. However, times have moved on—weapons have been invented and humans have harnessed the forces of nature to terrible effect. Eden is in turmoil and the young God has been called back to save his people.

In addition, The Battle of the Gods expansion pack is included offering players a host of new challenges including the threat of a rival God.

The game will retail in North America for $49.95, and is is currently available to pre-order from Feral’s online store. Macworld attendees will be able to try out Black & White 2 for themselves at booth 2530 in the South Hall, where the game will be available for purchase.

In addition, Feral has released a new demo of LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and improved the performance of the game on older MacBook and Mac mini models using the GMA950 graphics card. The demo is available from ludomac.com and games4mac.de.

The action-packed demo will let you play as Indy and Satipo as they recover the Golden Idol, complete with whips, puzzles, jokes, and a giant boulder. If you think you know Feral, you can try and spot the reference to one of our other games.

The game is supported on all Intel Macs with a GMA X3100 graphics card or better.

Finally, Feral is happy to announce is has enhanced LEGO Indy to be played on first generation MacBooks and Mac minis using the GMA950 graphics card. While we are not officially supporting these cards, we have improved the experience and we feel 90 percent of those who play LEGO Indy on GMA950-supported Macs will be happy with the performance gain.

In other words, 90% of you will just be happy to play anything other than your fifteenth variation of Bejeweled on your MacBook. The other 10% of you should probably have a better gaming system, anyway.
