It seems the rumors were true after all; Engadget and AppleInsider are now confirming that Apple has indeed sent out invitations to the media. The special event is to be held on 5th September at the Moscone West center in San Fransisco. According to AppleInsider, the invite shows an image of the Coverflow view on the iPhone; a cryptic message also reads: “The beat goes on”.
Apple is widely expected to update its entire line-up of (or at least some of its) iPods. Since the iPhone’s announcement and launch earlier this year, the company hasn’t updated its Mac and iPod products as frequently as before. Other products believed to be announced include Mac OS X-based iPods as well as other major announcments regarding the iTunes music store. What are you expecting?
