Cocktail is a multi-purpose utility for Mac OS X, providing the user with everything from disc maintenance to scheduled system clearing. The application has a wide variety of UNIX programs that will help users maintain their system and keep it running quickly and smoothly. Other notable features provided by Cocktail are the ability to run scheduled maintenance scripts, enable or disable the spotlight indexing of a certain volume, empty all caches throughout the system, lock and unlock certain files and folders, and modify hidden system preferences. In all, Cocktail contains 33 different tools to help its user realize full system.
