Clear Armor provides invisible iPhone protection…from blenders
Case-mate has announced the launch of Clear Armor, a protective film that adheres to a mobile phone, protecting it in its entirety while appearing invisible to the casual observer. Clear Armor is crafted from 3M’s Scotchgard Protection Film, which was originally designed to protect Apache Helicopter blades during Desert Storm. Today, 3M’s film is used around the world to protect automobiles from scratches, dings, and chips. The product is easy to apply, and will protect the device from scratches (and blender mishaps, apparently) for life. Plus, the Clear Armor design is uniquely engineered to prevent damage to the phone upon removal.
Shashi Reddy, Case-mate’s CEO, said, “Our goal is to provide a wide range of high quality (best in class) protective solutions for our customers. Clear Armor is another step in that direction, offering protection that is nearly invisible.” Clear Armor is available immediately for the iPhone, iPod Touch, BlackBerry Curve, and iPod Classic (80 and 160GB), and can be ordered online at the Case-mate website. The company expects to continue to aggressively expand this product to cover other devices.
Additional information on Clear Armor, including video overviews of the product, can be found at www.case-mate.com. Be sure to check out that blender video while you’re there.
