Calvin and Hobbes Meets Steve Jobs

It’s cartoon time, kids!
If any of you ever enjoyed the great comic strip Calvin and Hobbes (how can you not?) and also enjoy following Apple news (if not, why are you here?), then these newly discovered comic strips should tickle your funny bone.
Done by MAD Magazine’s Jacob Lambert (writer) and Gary Hallgren (artist), the eight strips offer a “Fake-Steve”-like approach to the CEO that is quite funny. Whether or not Calvin and Hobbes’ creator Bill Watterson would approve, I most certainly do.
For the above strip enlarged, plus seven more click Page 1 or Page 2.

iPhone Apps. They were great when the App Store was first announced and we could all pick and chose what we wanted, but the number is now overwhelming. Here at Appletell, we'll detail the great iPhone apps we find, and steer you clear from those that aren't worth it even if they're free.

That’s pretty funny, I actually received that in the mail and laughed a bit. What’s even more funny is that on another Apple site they hated that comic. I’m glad to see someone else in the Apple community has a sense of humor, since those other guys obviously think way too highly of themselves and the Apple culture.

Samuel: yeah, there are some people I just don’t get. Apple is not a personal friend, and neither is Steve. They are out to take your money, just like any other company, and I don’t mind a laugh at their expense.
