Banners for Apple’s Let’s Rock event are up and ready to rock!

Apple Let's Rock special event bannerAs the day draws closer to the Apple September 9th event, Apple continues to make preparations for its Let’s Rock special event. Apple has now put up a banner on the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco where the event is to be held.

The banner is in typical Apple style with a dancing person’s silhouette on a colorful background, with an iPod of course. This is clearly truth in advertising, I mean, I can’t not dance when I turn on my iPod. Who can resist? The technology just moves me!

To me, it looks like the much rumored new iPod nano, since it’s taller than the current nano. It doesn’t appear to fit completely in the model’s hand like a current nano would, but hangs over the edge. At least, that’s what it looks like to me after reading weeks worth of iPod nano rumors, and seeing pictures that all point to the same thing, so maybe I’m tricking myself into seeing what I want to see. I suppose it could be an iPod classic at an angle, but that’s no fun. You be the judge.

MacRumors, who posted the pic from iPhone Savior, also had some more rumors to throw at us. Supposedly, Apple is hyping this event big time for reporters saying it’s a “big deal” and that they need to come. They also relay that some iPhone news will make an appearance at the event as well; do I hear a firmware update coming? Only a few days left to wait.
