by Doug Berger on Jun 29, 2007 at 11:46 PM

Appletell iPhone Giveaway! So the Apple iPhone has been out for about a half hour now, and we’re already giving one away… really because we love you so much. Yes you will get a genuine 4GB iPhone that Adam stood on line for 4 hours (I know, not bad) to get just for you. It really wasn’t too bad since he made a few friends along the way.

In order to win, 1. Subscribe to our Feed and 2. Post a comment telling us why you deserve one.

You have until 6:00PM Pacific (9:00PM Eastern) on Friday the 13th to enter for your chance to win, and we will ship out the iPhone to the winner the following day!

The rules:

  • One entry per email address.
  • You can only win once during the extent of this giveaway.
  • The winner will be sent a notice via email and has 72 hours to reply with their mailing address to claim their prize—make sure you use a valid email address.
  • This giveaway will close on Friday, July 13 at 6:00pm Pacific, 9:00PM EST, then we’ll pick the winner at random.
  • All entries become the property of Dabbledoo, LLC and we have the right to use any and all submissions in any way, manner and in any media and in perpetuity without additional compensation or right of approval.
  • This is only open to residents located in the continental 48 US States, and you must be 18 or older to win.
  • Void where prohibited by law. The promotion is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

For Appletell’s iPhone coverage, head over to our dedicated iPhone category, and to get a better look at what you could win, head over to our iPhone peep show!

My husband won’t let me have one.  And I really, really want it.  Pretty please?

I deserve to win an iPhone because the superdrive in my PPC Mac Mini kicked the bucket a year ago. Since I can’t afford a replacement drive, I’ve been unable to burn CD’s, amd I’ve been unable to listen to my music anywhere but home. To make matters worse, my girlfriend never lets me use the speakers since it interferes with her favorite reality show, Charm School.

I would love to give my gradmother an iphone it would light up her world and she is about to pass away.

  • I deserve and iPhone because I’m 150 miles from the closest Apple store and 100 miles from the closest AT&T store. I need an iPhone just to find my way back to civilization!
    Thanks.

I deserve an iPhone because of my closeted obsession with it. As a die-hard Mac user and Apple fanatic, I praise the wonders of Apple to all my friends and family… though I always stress to never buy a first-generation product. Despite this decree, I secretly desire to have and to hold, now and forever, a 1st-gen iPhone. My strangely obsessive obsession deserves to be fulfilled. I know, I’m crazy…

    Because.

I’m not sure that i do deserve an iPhone. I suppose it’s this contest that will show me whether i do or not.

I leave it to you, cold hand of fate!

  • Brian Sorli from Florida said:

I’d love one and it would be even better if I won the iPhone 4GB model.

Actually, the primary reason I deserve an iPhone is simply because my wife wants one more then I do and she’ll end up having me buy one for her. :)

    Thanks,

    Brian…

Being the mother of 5 children, I think the iphone would assist me greatly in teaching them about the integration of technology and multimedia.  Also, I should mention that my husband wants to play with it too.  :-)

I was going to ask for the top of the line iPhone to help me in my work as a government employee, but when I read the request by the active duty Air Force guy who flies with the cargo and needs it to stay in touch with his family… I decided he really DESERVES this, where I’d just like to have it to help me be better organized.  So give it to him.

  • Neil from Worcester, MA said:

Why do I deserve an iPhone? Well, no one necessarily deserves one, and certainly no one deserves a free one. But I’d really really really really like a free one.

  • Lyle from Lafayette, CA said:

    Hey,

I am so glad to hear people are helping us get iPhones! I deserve an iPhone because I went down to the launch and stood in line with my friend so he could buy one but don’t have the money for one. I am stuck with my old phone with dying talk time. I get about 1 min of talk time and 5 hours of standby by with the battery, but I still have almost a year left on my contract if I wanted to get something for free.  (I gave my free upgrade to my sister when her phone got stolen).  So I need an iPhone!!

Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

Winning an iPhone is the only thing that will set me free from this prison of desire.

  • Bryan from Albany, NY said:

It’s actually my wife who deserves one.  As the mother of two young kids, she doesn’t get much grown-up fun, and she has a horrible Verizon phone that doesn’t stay charged for more than 20 minutes.

  • Nathan H. from Louisiana said:

I don’t really deserve on as I am only fourteen, but having a device that is beautifully designed to have e-mail, safari, a fancy “notes” app, YOUTUBE!, a sleek calculator, a map app, and so much more!.....Oh wait, IT’S A PHONE????!!! It’ll will at least replace my old piece of crap and allow me to have an iPod as well.

  • Brendan said:

I deserve an Apple iPhone cause I have had to suffer using this crappy Motorola Razr for the last year and a half -thanks!

I deserve an iPhone because I am a connection whore and I can’t stand being disconnected from the world! And I have no money.

  • Andy Oneal said:

I’m a poor college student whose old phone just snapped in half. My old iPod was also stolen from my car last thanksgiving. I need an iPhone!

  • Hey guys, love the site! I think I deserve an iPhone because I’ve been waiting for so long for a device that combines all the devices I use (cell phone, iPod, camera, etc.) into one easy-to-use device. The iPod really is my Holy Grail when it comes to an all-in-one mobile device. Also, I’d buy one for myself, but I’m getting married in a couple months so I’m saving up for that. Hope you’ll consider me!

  • Dave Nelson from Ohio said:

My son works with his high school’s tech department. He works during his summer vacation helping maintain the school’s website and works around the school helping teachers with computer problems and technical support.

Their department has made an amazing amount of progress in my opinion and in the past year they have been working with teachers to make podcasts for their classes. These teachers are provided with an iPod and recording equipment to make video and audio recordings of their lectures. They send them to the tech department where they are posted on the website for students to review on their own time. Even their school morning news show in on iTunes.

Their high school is predominately Mac based and they have only good things to say about Apple in general. If he wins this iPhone, that could be the first step to convince administrators how beneficial it would be for both them and teachers.

    Thanks.
