Appletell announces Mac OS Classic game giveaway winner

by Kirk Hiner on Dec 28, 2008 at 11:29 PM

Appletell iMac GiveawayAfter nearly three weeks of accepting entries, the Appletell Mac OS Classic game giveaway came to an end on Sunday, December 21st. Then, on Christmas Day, we randomly selected a winner from all of those who properly guessed, or researched, or simply already knew that Sierra’s Phantasmagoria easily claims the title of worst Mac OS Classic game of all time. Well, in my opinion, anyway, but I challenge anyone out there to find a more ridiculously, laughably awful game.

But that horrible game may now be the favorite of John Cole of West Virginia. He was our winner, and has already selected the 30 games out of the 40+ available to play on his new used prize Indigo iMac. He picked some good ones, going hardcore with titles such as Oni, Star Wars: Dark Forces, Unreal and Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption. And yet, he also chose Bingo Bingo Bingo. Go figure.

Thanks to everyone who entered. It won’t be long at all before we announce our next contest, so be sure to come by Appletell this week. Aside from our lead up to Macworld Conference and Expo 2009, you’ll also have the opportunity to win a great prize from Logitech.
