Apple updates the iPod classic

by Ed Parry on Sep 9, 2009 at 01:35 PM
The memory-upgraded iPod classic

The iPod classic managed to get a mention on stage at today’s Apple event, while nothing really happened to the device itself.

The only news to report are the memory boosts and price reductions. The current 120GB model is being upgrade to 160GB for the same previous price: $249. Nothing major here, but another nice update all the same. You can now hold even more music than before, or even your entire movie collection for your viewing pleasure. The updated iPod classic now holds 40,000 tracks. Impressive, eh?
