Apple Special Event possible during week of September 7th
You’ve been waiting, and now you have to wait just a little longer…maybe. The guys over at AllThingsD say Apple is…well, here, read…
Multiple music industry sources say Apple executives have told them the company is planning one of its famed keynote events for the week of Sept. 7.
Honestly, this isn’t that big of a surprise. Heck, it’s almost tradition for Apple to tease us with rumors all summer and then hold a special event after Labor Day. Last year it was the updated iPod nano, and the year before that they announced the iPod touch (shortly after most of us bought the original iPhone).
So what will they have to say? I wouldn’t be surprised to see updated iPods. I’m thinking it’s likely we’ll see both a new iPod touch and iPod nano, both with cameras. But that’s not really what you want me to say is it? I know what I want to hear, and it goes a little something like this…
One more thing.
The Apple tablet. We all want it. I’d say it’s highly possible for Apple to announce the mythical tablet, but as always, there’s much disagreement among rumors. Some think it might happen, and some sources deny it tooth and nail until at least 2010. We’ll see, it’s less than a month away. Stay tuned.

I heard they might announce an 8gb iPhone 3gs to replace the 8gb 3g. Kinda weird but I hope that doesn’t mean a price drop for iPhones because i’m buying mine a few weeks before the event :/
