Apple posts highest customer satisfaction rates ever
The American Customer Satisfaction Index recorded its highest rating yet, and attached to it was the name Apple, Inc.
Apple, with its score of 85, marks its fifth year of being first place among all other computer manufacturers. The 85 score was a full ten points above runner-up Dell, who was the only other company to record an increase over 2007’s results.
A gap this large has never been seen before, according to the head of the ACSI, who also noted this gap was likely driven by consumer frustration at Windows Vista and related problems. However, Apple’s results don’t include its MobileMe / iPhone 3G launch fiasco, the results of which are expected to level off next year’s scores.

Most likely because Apple has been great at making people “feel” good, and think they have the best. But it’s most likely the good reality distortion field they’ve built up over the years. Apple’s really good at that.
