app4mac introduces Sequence 1.0 for Mac OS X Leopard

by Josh Holat on Jun 16, 2008 at 11:43 AM

SequenceApp4mac has recently announced Sequence 1.0, a simple to use video and screen capture utility that will be coming soon. Although it will only work with Mac OS X Leopard, it should still sell very well with its $9 price tag and free updates/upgrades.

From the product description:

A video or screenshot can be emailed, uploaded on the web, or passed around however you want. Using a multithreaded code and a 64-bit enabled compression system, Sequence can handle capturing DVD, audio, or any other multimedia application. Sequence is powerful enough to simultaneously record from your webcam and your screen. With the voice recording function, you can easily describe what you are doing on your screen. Simply use your Mac’s built-in microphone or any external audio source.

With so many options and formats, these videos can easily be used to create product demos and video tutorials for almost everyone and anyone. It is scheduled to come out on July 4th, and I’m sure it will offer some nice competition to apps such as iShowU and Screenflow.  I know I am definitely going to check this out when it is released. Are you going to?
