To be completely honest, I thought this week was a little disappointing on the App Store. I didn’t really find a lot of apps that I love. But don’t fret, I’ve still found some great freebies to clutter up that iPhone of yours.

TouchMines - Touch Mines is your standard minesweeper clone. If you’ve ever tried to use a Windows PC, gave up and played minesweeper, then you know exactly what to expect with this app. Find the mines without blowing yourself up.

IM+ All-in-One Messenger - Collect all of your IM services into one app, as long as those services are AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, GTalk, Jabber, or MySpaceIM. A great feature of this App, as compared to Palringo, is that you don’t have to sign up for a special account on any websites. Just know your log-ins and you’re good to go!

Tunnel - Another classic. Pilot a ship through a tunnel by tilting your device. You know the rules, just don’t touch the walls. Go farther, and get a higher score, simple.

CoinToss - Got two choices and just can’t make up your mind? Do you also lack a physical coin? Well, have I found an app for you! This simulates a US quarter in full 3D. Just swipe your finger to start the spinning, and hopefully the decision. Personally, I have a much harder time making decisions since I can’t narrow it down to just two options. I’ve gotta have dice. Sad, I know.

Units - Convert between many different units with this appropriately named app. It does area, currency, energy, temp, time, length, Apple/Windows computer prices, weight, speed, pressure, power, volume, and data storage. To top it all off, it has a ruler. What more could you want?
