Another week, another list. By this time, I’m sure you’ve come to some sort of agreement between you and your iPhone about apps. If you’re anything like me, you’ve realized you can’t have every app you’ve downloaded still installed on your iPhone. On top of that, organization of apps is no fun, but it sure is nice. I really wish Apple would implement some way of auto-sorting apps onto their own pages, perhaps by type or category. I’d still like to organize the icons with my Mac instead of with my finger, which takes too long.
Anyway, here are some more apps for your downloading pleasure:
True or False Trivia - I know, another trivia game. This one is a little unique. You’re only two choices are True and False, which I honestly think is more difficult than multiple choice. Right now, there are 50 questions. The next version will have 100, and soon, over 300.
Scramboni - Compete against everyone online to unscramble jumbled up words. Do it faster and get more points, You’ll have to be the fastest to climb up the online leaderboard.
Tetsuki - It’s another game of Go…or Othellog, Igo, Baduk, Wieqi, etc. Call it what you must, but this is the most feature packed one I’ve seen to hit the App Store. You can create an account and play against everyone else online. You can choose board sizes, zoom in and out, record a game, give yourself a handicapit’s really got it all.
i.TV - Quite possibly the best TV guide app on the App Store, and it’s free. Plus, you get more than just TV listings; movies are included with this app as well. The app locates you, and then allows you to choose from TV providers, and browse local theaters. There are previews and reviews, trailers, descriptions, bio, and photos. What else could you ask for? Apparently, watching TV, remotely programming your DVR, buying tickets and managing rentals since these are the top features on upcoming versions of this app. i.TV is awesome. Seriously, download it now.
Motion Alarm - Keep your iPhone protected from others when it’s just too big and heavy for you to carry around. Okay, I’ll admit it, I really can’t think of many practical situations that you’d have to leave your iPhone unattended, but just in case, this app will leave you feeling a little bit better. When the phone is moved enough an alarm is sounded, even if it’s in sleep mode. This will work a lot better if you unplug the headphone, and an iPhone 3G is preferable to the original, since the speakers are louder.
Hudson Games - Lastly I just want to mention three games by Hudson that are free this weekend only. You’ve got NeoSameGame, Aqua Forest, and Catch the Egg. Check out the links if you are interested in getting some premium apps for free. But hurry, because you’ve only got until the 12th of October.
Anyway, here are some more apps for your downloading pleasure:
