App rejected from App Sto…wait, I can’t say that anymore?

by Jake Gaecke on Sep 23, 2008 at 07:15 PM

App Store Rejection Letters NDAApps are rejected from the App Store on a semi-regular basis, and we’ve heard about it before. Some apps get pulled, and others just get denied, but it seems that in the future we’ll only know about the ones that get pulled from the App Store.

Apple has put a warning at the end of their rejection letters sent to developers of said apps.

THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS MESSAGE IS UNDER NON-DISCLOSURE

So, this goes right along with all the other things Apple doesn’t want us to be talking about, like the iPhone SDK and how to make apps work well with using it. MacRumors points out that this kind of sensitive information may already have been under NDA. Apple may be doing this just to make it painfully clear to developers that they don’t want you talking about rejection to all of your friends. So, I guess we won’t be hearing about how our favorite up and coming apps didn’t make the cut. At least we won’t get excited for nothing.
