Hide a Caller Pro is an app that allows you to be all stealthy-like. Well, maybe the correct word is sneaky. We all love the convenience of being able to see who is calling us. That way, we can decide if we want to actually talk to them. However, for those who like that convenience but don’t especially want others who may be looking to know who is calling, Hide a Caller Pro solves that dilemma.

How does it work?

It works by masking the true identity of your callers. It does this with random names, or you can even set a contact to show as a different number. So, let’s just says Johnny is out on a date, and he gets a call. By this point in the date, he’s bored senseless and wishing he were elsewhere. Lo and behold, that hot chick he’s been chasing finally returns his call. Johnny sadly explains to the current date “Oh, my work is calling, I hope it’s not an emergency, and I have to leave!” (*gag gag*).

Features:

• Discreet: Now, you obviously don’t want an app icon on your phone showing you use this, I would imagine. The developers solved this problem by creating an innocent sounding “Web Logins” button. It’s password protected, too, by the way.
• Masking: You can select an alias to mask both calls and texts.
• Alias Choices: You have lots of aliases from which to choose. Either gender, and lots of ethnic names. You can even pick to have your alias selected randomly based on a specific ethnicity.

• Your contacts work with it: They make it simple to be sneaky. You can import and export contacts from your existing contact list. But, keep in mind if you delete it from the app once you’ve added them, it deletes them from your contact list too.
