by Arnold Zafra on Jul 10, 2008 at 06:14 PM

Truveo Video Search Engine for the iPhoneAOL has joined the iPhone 3G frenzy with the launch of three of its very own iPhone OS applications which are now available for free download at the Apple App Store. These applications are the instant messaging client AIM, the online radio service AOL Radio and the video search engine Truveo. All these applications were built using the iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK), hence providing full-featured applications for the new iPhone.

AIM for the iPhone features most of the goodness of the web-based IM client. It offers real-time communication, buddy list window and status availability of friends and contacts plus more capabilities that will work well whether you’re iPhone is connecte through Wi-Fi, EDGE or 3G network.

AOL Radio, on the other hand, provides immediate, free access to more than 350 online radio stations in the US and for the US iPhone users. It has access to 150 local CBS Radio stations and 200 AOL Radio stations. AOL Radio for the iPhone was designed to adapt to the connection speed of the iPhone with its varying streaming capabilities. It also features automatic detection of nearest CBS Radio stations to the user’s location.

Finally, the Truveo search engine for the iPhone provides users with a fast and easy way of finding mobile video contents from your new iPhones. Truveo crawls through video sources including CNN, Discovery Channel, HBO, NBC and many more.

Like we said, all three iPhone applications are available now for free at the Apple App Store. We don’t have to tell you where and how to find it.
