Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth headset for iPhone

by Marvin Sum on Jun 20, 2007 at 04:00 PM

Aliph Jawbone

If you’re looking for a Bluetooth headset to go with your shiny new iPhone, don’t expect Apple’s Bluetooth Headset to be available on June 29. Having just received FCC certification several days ago, it’s highly unlikely that Apple has the logistics in place to manufacture and ship it in a decent quantity.

However, it seems like Aliph has decided to (conveniently) fill the gap with the Jawbone. This is not an ordinary Bluetooth headset; it comes with audio processing that can eliminate background noise. Hosain Rahman, the CEO of Aliph says that they “believe consumers will find that the marriage of these products delivers the best experience in terms of quality and sophistication”.

We have no idea how much background noise it eliminates, but it’s supposed to cost $120 at your local Apple or AT&T store on June 29. If we get our hands on either one of the products set for release June 29th, we’ll let you know how the quality is.
