A tour of the “Company Store”

by Marvin Sum on Aug 16, 2007 at 11:15 AM

Company Store

It’s highly unlikely that us mere mortals would ever get a chance to tour the mothership Cupertino campus, but did you know Apple has a public store that sells all sorts of collectibles? Roman Loyola over at MacLife recently shared his experience of visiting the Company Store.

Apparently, almost any household item can be adorned with that silky white Apple logo, elevating it into a class of its own. If you’re looking to buy a Mac or to get support from a Genius, you’ll have to look elsewhere. The Company Store does sell some software, but its mainly stocked with collectibles for die-hard Apple fanboys.

Have you ever been to the Company Store?

I just went last week!!  I was out in the bay area for work and decided to take a ride down…It was pretty funny to see the picture of the sign…I took one myself ;-)...

The store was nicely laid out.  It had plenty of Apple tee-shirts (which I bought for me and the kids).  They also sold computers, iPhones etc typically Apple Store stuff…I’ll make it part of my trip every time I go our west!!
