Apple is in the giving spirit this holiday season, as well. They are now offering 20 free holiday themed songs through iTunes in the form of an LP album. These songs include classics like “Silent Night,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” and “We Three Kings.” If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit this month, this may be the best and cheapest way to do so.
It’s also a great way to explore what an LP album is like on iTunes. Head on over to iTunes and check it out. An iTunes Preview window will open in your browser if you don’t have iTunes installed.
I have to say the LP album for these songs is pretty simple. It provides you with a list of the songs on a Christmas list type parchment with snow falling in the background. You can click one to play and then listen to the song with snow falling in the background and the lyrics on the screen. For free, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re into Christmas music. Either way, though, it’s not often that deals like this can be found on iTunes, so I’d take advantage of it.
