$100,000 offered to release the iPhone’s unlocking software

A new blog has just launched on Blogger offering a $100,000 cash payment to make the iPhone unlocking software publicly available for free.

We are willing to pay $100,000 USD and make it freely available with the owner’s approval and all the credits given to the creator. We will also give you control of a domain and release it on Wednesday night at 12:00am

While this seems like a great offer and one that will be interesting to see if it is pursued, keep in mind that they offer very little details as to who is backing this and offer just a single Gmail address as a contact and most important anyone can very easily create a new blog on Blogger. Hopefully this is a truthful and honest offer, if nothing else it shows just how much people are wanting a free iPhone.
