Each Power Tool class involves two days of instruction and are split into two series.
Mac Labs at the Macworld Expo
![]()
The Mac Labs at the Macworld Expo is kind of an in-depth training class for just about everything Apple computer related. Mac Labs is an interesting part of the Macworld Expo. Mac Labs offer intimate, hands-on instruction for specific applications and tools. I have to say if I was going to get the opportunity to go to the Macworld Expo, this is the module in which I would be most interested.
MacIT at the MacWorld Expo
IT. It is a billion dollar business. Just about every business in the United States is connect to the internet and or uses computers for point of sale transactions. This requires some kind of information technology support. A lot of small companies will call their local computer or networking shop for assistance. The larger companies, however, usually have an IT specialist on staff. Large corporations have entire departments dedicated to it. How does Apple and the Macworld Expo fit in you ask? MacIT.
Appletell reviews Math Sticker for iPhone, iPod touch
First things first. Like any good reporter would, I went to the developer’s website before I downloaded the game. Guess what? Under construction…almost like the website is hosted by a 17 year old hacker in their room under their bed. Creepy and eerily plain. So my first impression was that I would probably not download this game if I was not doing a review. As for the game? It just flat out sucks.
Appletell reviews iResolve for iPhone, iPod touch
There is not a whole lot to this application. It has a nice look, simple graphics and does exactly what it advertises. The simple interface lacks pizzaz or flash, but the applications is very easy to use. The biggest problem I had is that the alarm reminders have not alarmed or reminded me of anything, ever. I really think this functionality should work in order for me to give this application a decent rating as I would think that would be a very widely used option.
Appletell reviews Sneezies for iPhone, iPod touch
Sneezies is definitely a unique idea for a game on the iPhone, and iPod Touch platform. The point of the game is to get as many of the “Sneezies” to sneeze as possible. This is done in a chain reaction kind of way. You place one sneeze at the beginning, and must cause a chain reaction to get as many Sneezies to sneeze as possible, therefore popping their respective bubbles.

Appletell review - iSanta for iPhone/iPod touch
iSanta from xCube Labs requires you to play Santa Claus, ride the sleigh on Christmas eve, and drop a specified number of gifts in each town you fly over.
My first impression of the game was not good. I cannot say enough about how bad the music is. It is totally distorted and sounds like someone had the gain cranked all the way up when it was recorded. I am, however, very impressed with the way the game looks. The graphics are clear and crisp. The game play is very smooth and realistic. When you tilt the device, Santa moves at a realistic pace and the game is not too fast or too slow.
Appletell review - Mouse House for iPhone/iPod touch
The purpose of Mouse House is to open and get through a door different from the one through which you entered the level. In order to open the door to leave the current level, you must consume a piece of cheese that is placed somewhere on that level. Each level increases the difficulty in reaching and eating that piece of cheese. My initial impression of the game was that it is for small children due to the basic movement and graphics. I would liken the graphics to a 16 bit gaming console, kind of an old Legend of Zelda feel. Gameplay is extremely smooth, and I did not have a single problem getting the mouse to go where I wanted it to.
