- be able to contribute a minimum of 20 articles (200-400 words per article) per month.

- be willing to take an active role in the site including responding to comments and reacting to readers needs and hot topics.

RelatedEasy iPod to iPod file transfers with miShare
Want to put the external disk option in your iPod to good use? I mean, your iPod Shuffle, Nano, and 5th generation with with video models are all good as portable disk drives, right? So why let a good feature go to waste because of Apple’s closed system? With a new product called miShare, you can kiss the problem of file swapping between iPods goodbye. Simply attach one iPod on one end, and another on the other end, et voilà! The first iPod can now save the files to the second one on its hard disk, and vice versa. The only catch is that you have to add all the files, whether they be music, photos, notes, etc., via your PC because as mentioned previously, the data is only saved on the hard disk. But really, isn’t that forgivable given the convenience that this product brings?
miShare is available now for only $99.

RelatedThe iPhone finally makes its way to Asia
On the heals of the iPhone’s geographic expansion in Europe, the iPhone is making it’s official entrance into Asia.
Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) will bring the iPhone to Singapore, India, Australia and the Philippines later this year (read, iPhone 2 with 3G speeds).
This is probably the only way to curb the massive knockoff problem that is currently going on in Asia. Further, a 2.5G iPhone is of no or little interest to countries and carriers with 3G networks.

Ever imagine why it took sooo long to get tech integrated into the workplace? Dell tries to begin to explain the answer in the hilarious video featuring Olivia Munn and “the boardroom”. Burn it! (you have to watch to get the joke)

Apple Store Status
View Pingdom’s Apple Store Status.
Note that the store online status will change based on the current status. The store is down at the time of posting.
Happy Tuesday folks (for the third time). It looks like the Apple Store is down this morning, so we’re waiting patiently for some product updates to show their faces. The store has been down a few times this month so far, and has included such updates as Apperture 2, the 16GB iPhone, the 32GB iPod Touch, and a cheaper 1 GB Shuffle & new 2 GB model. This update is most certainly a MacBook/MacBook Pro update. We’ll hit you back in a bit when updates come through.

Subscribe to Appletell
If you already read Appletell everyday, why not just subscribe to our RSS feed?
According to Wikipedia, “RSS is a simple XML-based system that allows users to subscribe to their favorite websites.” But really, that’s even making it sound a whole lot more techie than it actually is. RSS is a way to allow you to receive content (news, blogs, audio, video) without actually having to visit each site itself.

RelatedThe Apple Store is down…again

Just a week after the last Apple store update for the iPhone/iPod Touch update, the store is down once again. We can’t say for sure what changes are being made to Apple’s product lines - if any - but the Apple Store is currently showing the classic splash-screen. Will we see a spec boost in the Macbook line - or the Macbook Pro line?
More to come as we find out what’s going on. In the meantime, check out Appletell.
